Although these programs vary quite a bit in terms of their offerings, they all seem to suffer in one category or another. On the other end of the cost spectrum, there are a number of free photo editors available. In addition to the financial investment, users who want to get the most out of that product need to be willing to put in a fairly substantial time investment to learn all the ins and outs of the software. It may not stack up to Adobe Photoshop, but the application still provides powerful functionality for its price tag.While there’s really no argument that Photoshop is the staple of the professional digital photo editing world, its $700 price tag puts it out of the running for a lot of users. The application provides an easy-to-use user experience while still packing some punch. PhotoPlus is used by casual and professional photographers for editing photos. You can also bring your cherished old and beaten up photos back to life with PhotoPlus' repair tools that can remove creases, tears, and marks. The app gives you a crop tool with live feedback, one-click corrections for removing imperfections, and a large number of artistic effects. The editor supports a variety of image formats including JPEG and PNG, as well as camera raw formats such as CR2 and DNG. The program has been discontinued and is no longer offered by Serif. It can be used to crop photos, enhance them with effects, and touch up photos. Serif PhotoPlus is a photo editing application for Windows.
